When you participate in the Kick it! program, we'll supply some FREE nicotine replacement therapy, FREE quit kits, and help you through the transition with a trained guide and the support of others like you, who have decided to quit. Hickory County Health Department participates in the Missouri Safe Cribs Program where qualified individuals can receive a free pack 'n 'play. Call us with further questions and to see if you qualify.




TOP: Wyman's Teen Outreach Program

This Teen Outreach Program is an evidence-based best practice program used by schools, communities and youth practitioners. TOP empowers teens,from 6th to 12th graders, through its in-school/after-school program.

Wyman's TOP mission is to enable teens from economically disadvantaged circumstances to lead successful lives and build strong communities. Wyman's TOP uses a curriculum packed in four age/stage appropriate levels that include value clarification, relationships, communication/assertiveness, influence, goal-setting, decision-making, human development and sexuality, community service learning.The three goals of healthy behaviors, life skills, and a sense of purpose help every teen in the program build a foundation for success.

The office also has information about in-home health services, home food safety, help for survivors of  domestic and sexual violence and abuse, behavioral health services, hospice, low-cost or no-cost health coverage for your children, and more.
